Best donuts in Mebane for years, never had long wait or wrong order here

Called first thing in the morning because we had forgotten to order a cake for an occasion...they had exactly what we wanted and I was able to pick it up within 30 minutes - with custom writing. Once we had a chance to taste the cake, it was one of the best cakes I have ever had! Will definitely find my way back.

We love this place. Don't visit often as we are avoiding sweets. Great place for a special occasion or taking something really good to an event. People love it when you bring them good stuff. You can use this place to increase your friend circle. They are real nice folks and a lot of people know of the location. If you haven't been here. Be sure to stop by.

I'm in the area for work for the next couple of weeks, and I love finding local coffee shops to go to. I'm glad I stumbled upon this one! Extremely nice and friendly customer service, and the Caramel Java chip was absolutely amazing!

My grandbabies love coming here. It has been a routine every weekend the come to our house.

We love this donut spot and have to stop anytime we are passing through Mebane or on our way back to Raleigh area. They have the BEST donuts ever!! A definite favorite!!

I hadn't been here in a few years, but I stopped by because my usual go-to for donuts was closed. Much better than I remember! The donuts were fantastic and their other pastries looked delectable.I may have a new go-to for donuts.

Cranberry walnut muffin was great. Coffee could have been fresher but I would go again for sure.

This place is absolutely amazing!! Everything is delicious and the staff are so friendly. I love going in and trying new things, but I always at least get the strawberry cupcake! Last trip I had the chess pie... it was heavenly!!!

I'm a regular here. Those that help with your selections are very pleasant. The coffee is good. When I cheat with a sweet, I am never disappointed.

I'm 73, and grew up with Krispy Kreme donuts. I sold them as a kid. 50 cents a doz. I live close to W-S so I can get them off the line fresh. DiStefano' s are better. They are SOFT yet a very slightly crispy. Not too much glaze. Just right. They have all the other baked goods you would expect that are also very good . The ladies who work there are great. Unless you carry cash, you can't tip. Take cash for tipping. Coffee is very good. They have a dark roast.Eat in area is cleaner than it used to be. That used to be the only complaint I had. That seems to have improved. Give them a try.Good parking. Easy in and out.

I love their apple fritters. They are actually baked with slices of apple in them! My wife loves the chocolate rolls and the kids always go for the giant cookies. The staff is friendly and will answer any questions you have.

My husband and I use to love this bakery. The last 3 times we’ve gone there we’ve been given the wrong pastry. My husband loves their apple danish. He doesn’t like the apple cream cheese or the cinnamon. They put all of these together and they may look similar but they are different. The time before last he went back and by the time he got there they were sold out of apple danishes. They made a mistake and wouldn’t even give him his money back. They did offer to give him something in exchange but they did not have what he wanted. Today he wanted to try again and again he was given the incorrect thing. So as much as we love this bakery we won’t be back. Their employees don’t even care or try to make it right.

Look, Krispy Kreme and Dunkin donuts are over rated. Go here where the donuts are always fresh and melt in your mouth. Of course Dunkin and Krispy Kreme coffee is better.

I've been here 3 or 4 times because my church is to use them and my parents stay down the road, but I wont be back. The lady at the counter is very off putting

This was an unexpected happy stop this morning. While traveling I google searched a place to stop for coffee and this bakery popped up. The selection of fresh baked goods is outstanding! I purchased a variety of muffins-these are THE BEST muffins I have had in a long time! They are filled with fresh fruit, and I mean filled! What a great start to this gloomy day to have found this gem!!! I will definitely be back.

Nice bakery. Very friendly people. We were with my puppy and they helped us put a table and chairs outside so we could sit with him! Great customer service!! I had a terrific chocolate thing that was basically a large Ring-Ding! And a Mocha frappe. My wife had a spinach bagel. All were very good! This was a nice treat after a hike at Lake Michael.Don’t worry the puppy got a treat too. And a woman coming out of the bakery gave him a doughnut hole!

Absolutely best bakery!! The apple fritters are amazing and the powdered raspberry filled doughnut was delicious. Definitely returning when I’m in the area.

Got a mix of stuff, turtle cheesecake, cherry cheesecake, stuffed & filled donut, and a HUGE chocolate chip cookie. LOVED everything!! Caramel & vanilla frap to-go...DELICIOUS! Young gentlemen took care of us, was great and friendly!!

Nice little bakery! That have a good selection of doughnuts as well as other tasty treats- bagels, breads, muffins, cupcakes, cookies, turnovers, and more! They also serve a good cup of coffee.They have tables and chairs so you can meet a few friends or enjoy a few minutes to yourself before starting on your day.Do yourself a favor and come check out and support a local bakery!

Love the baked goods from this place. The quality is second to none. The service on the other hand is what I can only describe as less than enthusiastic.

Well, if you just want a quick sugar rush this may be ok. Definitely does not taste home made like grandma made. And, everything taste way too sweet and commercial made.

Always fresh, always good. They have a combination white cream and jelly donut that is to die for. And the rolls make excellent sandwiches. Cakes, pies,Danish ... just about anything you could ask for. It's always a treat to stop there!

I’ll never be back. I walked in and wasn’t greeted after saying hello to the girl at the drive up window. She finally turned towards me and stared me in the face but never spoke. The guy was less than enthusiastic about serving me. My donuts were put in bags and were smashed by the time I got to my destination. I was hoping the donuts were their saving grace, but they were less than average. Most of them tasted gooey like they weren’t cooked all the way. I’m new to the area and I’m trying to give my business to small business owners, but not this one ever again.

They make some of the most delicious cakes and there bakery is very nice and clean and they are very friendly.

Great bakery. I loved this place I wish there were more bakeries like this one all over the state. The bread is really good and the desserts are amazing. Very good prices, I loved this Bakery. I drove from Winston Salem and tried it and I am super pleased with it. Hopefully I'll be back at this bakery very soon. I love Italian flavor. Amazing bakery. Love it.

Just picked up my Sister's Birthday Cake. The cake was excellent as usual. The coffee and other baked goods are great and the staff is always eager to get your order perfect

We only tried the cupcakes (going with them for our wedding), but everything looks incredible and is reasonably priced. Don't go for the coffee though. It's terrible. But since they're a bakery and not a coffee shop, I'm not going to fault them for that.

Love love love Distefano's!!! I have never had a bad experience or dessert!!! My favorite are the Raspberry Cream filled Powdered doughnuts but I've tried everything just about and you can't go wrong with anything. Every timber I confer into town I pick up a box of goodness. Yummy!!!

Second time here. The entire store was filthy. One restroom out of order the other had no toilet paper or hand soap. No napkins for the customers either. The staff was not welcoming, acted like we were an inconvenience for asking for a cloth to wipe the tables. Would have used a napkin but as mentioned they didnt have any. Not returning.

This place is awesome! The rolled like chocolate cake with cream filling and their chess pie is to die for! The cram cheese pumpkin muffins were delicious too. My daughter likes their unicorn cookies. Highly recommend and the staff is super friendly too.

Best Birthday cakes, hands down. However, I just visited (Sat. 9:30 AM) to order a birthday cake and was informed that they only take orders M-F, 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM and that I would have to either come back or call between those hours. NOT GOING TO HAPPEN! I work M-F. They are a service industry. They could not accommodate me, so now I'm sitting in my car in front of Tasty Bakery in Graham who just took my order and my money. T. DiStefano's lost my business!

This is one of Mebane’s best kept secrets! This place is AWESOME!!! They have a little bit of everything, and the staff is so friendly. Not to mention, everything is cheap!! They also have a drive through which makes it easy! Love this little place!!

Donuts are good but not the best I ever had..Employees are not friendly and act like your being annoying by ordering. If they could be welcoming and not rude then I would give more stars!
